I know it’s evening but give this email a decent read as I want to speak bluntly.

First of all thank you for voting. 57% of you asked me to walk through Monday’s £1,000 profit, so that is exactly what we will cover.

I will host a live Zoom session tomorrow evening and I will send the joining details later on. Please bring your questions as I will set aside time for a proper Q&A.

A quick update while we’re here: four winners landed today, which takes me to over £1,600 since Monday.

Below you’ll see a snapshot of what that looks like on Betfair. There are additional profits on Betfred, Pinnacle, Ladbrokes, and others.

During tomorrow’s video call I will log in and show everything live — balances, history, and slips. Nothing hidden.

£917 profit on Betfair alone since yesterday. The rest on bookie accounts..

So tomorrow you’ll see all of and realise it’s actually nothing to brag about. Just variance, closing line value and price discipline doing its job.

For those who voted for football strategies..

Keep an eye out for a piece later this week with fresh insights on the current market.

I love the game, but historically the strongest returns have come from racing and golf. That’s a bigger conversation about market structure and timing, which I’ll cover in a dedicated write-up soon.

Are we seriously broken?

It does feel like there’s a fog of pessimism in the betting world, and I understand why.

We have been sold too many stories and not enough truth.

Trust wears thin after a while.

I have been there myself.

I signed up to a new tipster, took three losing days on the bounce, and I was cursing the whole thing.

Looking back it was daft, but in the moment it felt perfectly reasonable.

The problem was not the losses. The problem was expecting instant payoff.

The answer is not another promise or a louder pitch. The answer is patience, record-keeping, price discipline, and a willingness to learn.

If we stop chasing the quick hit and commit to the process, we start avoiding the charlatans.

Study the game. Simple as.

Onwards,

Value Hunter
